Ice Prince Reveals Spending on Cannabis Prompted Him to Quit

Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has revealed that problems over his spending on cannabis led him to stop using the drug.

Speaking on the Nevon HQ podcast, the artist, known for hits including Oleku, said his use had become financially unsustainable over several years.

He described realising the scale of the expenditure as a turning point that pushed him to step away from the habit.

"I got to a point where I looked at the numbers and knew I had to make a change," he said.

Ice Prince further disclosed he is now focused on his music and wellbeing.

Public health bodies including the National Health Service (NHS) advise that regular cannabis use can carry risks to mental and physical health.

They recommend speaking to a General Practitioner (GP) or contacting a support service such as Talk to Frank at talktofrank.com for help with cutting down or quitting.
