DELSU Invites Applications for 2025 Nursing Programme via CODEL

The Delta State University (DELSU) Centre for Open Distance and E-Learning (CODEL) has announced an invitation for suitably qualified applicants into its Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc) degree programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.



According to an official release signed by the Registrar, Mrs Ruina U. Utiofo, this innovative programme is designed to help students overcome traditional barriers to earning a degree, offering top-tier nursing education through a modern, flexible learning platform.

The admission is specifically for 200 Level through the Direct Entry mode. Prospective candidates are advised that this is a direct entry programme and does not require a UTME score.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Possess a Registered Nursing (RN) certificate from a recognized College of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

- Have five (5) O'Level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Application Procedure and Deadline

The application process is a two-stage procedure:

1. JAMB Registration: Candidates must first log on to the JAMB CAPS website to register for Part-Time programmes and obtain a JAMB registration number.

2. DELSU-CODEL Application: Applicants must then proceed to the DELSU application portal at www.studentportal.delsu.edu.ng, complete the online form, and make a payment of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only to any of the approved banks: Zenith Bank, UBA, Unity Bank, or Eco Bank.

The university has set a strict deadline for the submission of all completed application forms. All applications must be submitted on or before November 30th, 2025.
