Nigeria’s Super Eagles delivered a commanding performance to defeat Jamaica 3-0 in the 2026 Unity Cup final on Saturday, securing a record fourth title in the competition’s history.
The final at a packed London stadium got off to a blistering start when Alhassan Yusuf fired Nigeria ahead in the 3rd minute, converting an early attack that caught the Jamaican defence off guard.
From there, Nigeria controlled proceedings as strong midfield play and disciplined defending limited Jamaica’s chances while the Super Eagles continued to create opportunities.

Terem Moffi doubled the lead in the 59th minute with a composed finish, putting Nigeria firmly in control.
Philip Otele then sealed the victory in the 90th minute, rounding off a convincing 3-0 win.
The result confirms Nigeria as the most successful team in Unity Cup history with four titles, according to a post on the Super Eagles’ official X account.
Tournament organisers also confirmed that the Unity Cup now carries FIFA Tier 1 status.
The designation means all matches in the competition receive full international recognition under FIFA regulations.
