Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms across parts of south-west England and most of Wales, warning of disruption to travel and possible damage to property.
According to the Met Office, the alert runs from 3 pm to midnight.
Forecasters say heavy rain, hail and spray could make driving hazardous, while lightning strikes may cause localised damage to buildings.
There is also a risk of delays to trains and buses, short-term power cuts and some localised flooding.

Residents in flood-prone areas are urged to check their risk and prepare a flood plan and emergency kit.
The affected areas cover Bath, North East Somerset, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon and Dorset in the South West, with nearly all of Wales included.
Parts of the West Midlands and South East are also covered, including Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Hampshire.
The warning follows this week’s record-breaking heatwave.
On Tuesday, the Met Office provisionally recorded the hottest May day on record, with 35.1C logged at Kew Gardens.
