President Bola Tinubu has commissioned more than 20 "strategic" projects across all six geopolitical zones as part of events celebrating three years of his administration.
In a statement released on Friday, 29 May 2026, Mr Tinubu said the projects reflected "signs of recovery, resilience, and renewal" in the economy.
He described the commissioning as a precursor to Democracy Day on 12 June, when his government will present a full scorecard to Nigerians.
The new infrastructure spans energy, health, enterprise, education and public works.
Under the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund, four CNG projects were unveiled, including FEMADEC Energy at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, the first of 20 CNG refuelling stations planned for federal universities.
Other projects include Portland Gas in Ojota, Lagos, IBILE Oil and Gas with 15 stations across Lagos, and Rolling Energy in Jahi, Abuja.

In the health sector, 13 projects were commissioned, among them the President Bola Tinubu Complex at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja, and new medical facilities at teaching hospitals in Zaria, Bauchi, Nsukka and Uyo.
The government also opened State Emergency Operations Centres in Kano, Sokoto and Katsina, alongside a new Lagos Vaccine Hub in Oshodi.
Tinubu said almost 3,000 primary health centres had been revitalised under the IMPACT programme over the last two years, along with 27 comprehensive emergency obstetric centres and over 2,300 level 1 and 2 facilities.
"These projects are not ceremonial symbols. They are evidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda is being felt in homes, businesses, schools and hospitals," the President said.
He concluded by formally declaring all the projects "duly commissioned, and dedicated to the service of the Nigerian people. The work continues. The reforms continue. And our resolve remains unshaken."
