Men Who Apologise When Wives Are Wrong Deserve to Suffer – Brymo

Nigerian musician and award-winning songwriter Brymo has ignited a storm of reactions online after declaring that men who apologise to their wives or partners when the women are at fault "deserve to suffer."

The Ara crooner made the remark while sharing his views on relationships and accountability, arguing that misplaced apologies by men often come with lasting consequences.

Writing on Instagram, Brymo stated: "Nobody deserves to suffer than men who apologise to women when the women are wrong."

He went further, adding: "And suffer they will from here, and for the rest of humanity’s earthly existence."

The post quickly went viral, prompting sharp criticism from many social media users who described the comments as harsh and out of touch with the realities of modern relationships.

Several argued that apologies are not always about admitting fault, but about maintaining peace, mutual respect and emotional balance.

Others, however, defended the singer’s position, suggesting he was drawing attention to situations where men feel compelled to accept blame unfairly, even when they believe they are not at fault.
