Calls for the arrest of controversial social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, have intensified following her insistence that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, a claim many Nigerians now dispute.
Social media users have urged law enforcement agencies to investigate the influencer over allegations that she misled the public and solicited donations under false pretences.
Several posts on X accused her of fraud, with some commentators demanding that she be made to refund donations received during the episode.
RIA OF IBADAN wrote: "Her body language, her emotional flex, her humanity crumbled immediately the doctor exposed the truth about her case.
"This is a criminal case and should be treated as one. Use her as a worthy sample and you will save social media and the influencing community from this virus spreading. Dear @PoliceNG pick her up and deliver duly what is necessary on this case. Thank you."
The backlash followed a recent interview with online personality Egungun, in which Okoro doubled down on her cancer claim.
She said her decision to seek public support financially was the result of what she described as a “miscommunication,” adding that she felt no need to apologise for her actions.
However, the controversy deepened after claims emerged that the medical report she allegedly presented was forged and belonged to another patient.

The family of the purported original owner has reportedly issued a 24-hour ultimatum, demanding a public apology or threatening legal action.
Scrutiny intensified during a televised interview on Arise TV, where Okoro appeared alongside medical doctor and content creator Adefunke Arolowo and lawyer Inibehe Effiong.
During the programme, she was pressed to provide evidence backing her diagnosis.
Arolowo said the medical document presented by Okoro matched a report already circulating online, which she described as false.
She added that she had contacted the doctor whose name appeared on the report, saying that he is based in Asaba, Delta State, and had not been in Enugu at the time the report was allegedly issued.
Legal and public affairs analyst Oluwatodimu Ige said presenting a medical report that does not belong to an individual, and requesting money on the basis of an unverified illness, could amount to criminal conduct.
According to Ige, if it is established that Okoro knowingly misrepresented her condition, the appropriate course of action would be to refund all donations unless contributors expressly decline.
He added that the influencer would need to provide verifiable medical records, hospital visits with clear timelines, and cooperate fully with the police to resolve the matter.
As of the time of publication, Blessing CEO had deactivated her Instagram account, a move that has further fuelled speculation as pressure mounts for official action.
