A crowd gathered at the scene on Wednesday after gunmen abducted the younger sister of former Power Minister and Oyo APC governorship aspirant, Adebayo Adelabu, alongside her twin sons in Ibadan, Oyo State.
A viral video from the location showed a red sedan with shattered windows as onlookers inspected the vehicle and reacted in shock.
Eyewitnesses identified the victim as Adelabu’s sister, popularly linked to the "Penkele" family, and said she was taken with her two children during the attack.

The incident occurred in the Challenge area of Ibadan South-West Local Government Area.
Family sources have confirmed the abduction, while police say verification and investigation are ongoing.
The kidnap comes amid rising insecurity in Oyo State, following the 15 May abduction of 39 pupils and seven teachers from schools in Oriire LGA, and a separate abduction reported earlier on Wednesday in Elewura.
