A new dispute appears to be unfolding in Nigeria’s vibrant music industry following reports of a confrontation involving Burna Boy, his entourage, and DJ Tunez at Obi’s house in Lagos.
RoundReports learnt that the incident came to public attention after a video circulated online showing a heated exchange at the popular venue.
The clip, widely shared across social media, allegedly features Burna Boy, members of his crew, and DJ Tunez, who is best known as Wizkid’s official disc jockey.
While the cause of the altercation remains uncertain, the footage has ignited fierce debate among fans.
DJ Tunez later took to X (formerly Twitter) to claim he was struck from behind during the encounter.
His post read: “FIRST OFF… YOU HIT ME IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD WITHOUT ME LOOKING! THAT’S SOME SUCKA SHIT MY BOY!” The statement quickly went viral, drawing strong reactions across the Afrobeats community.
As discussions intensified, another clip surfaced online showing Burna Boy dancing with a towel.

Wizkid soon entered the fray, posting a sharp message on X that appeared to mock both the alleged fight and the towel video.
His words, laced with harsh criticism, have divided opinion among fans and observers.
“Pussy nigga jump a DJ with 10 man carry diddy towel dey dance. I never see fool like this diddy babe for my life,” WizKid wrote.
Burna Boy has yet to respond publicly to either DJ Tunez’s accusation or Wizkid’s reaction.
The clash is particularly striking given the history of collaboration between Burna Boy and Wizkid.
Their joint tracks, including Ginger from Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album and Ballon d’Or, achieved widespread success and showcased their musical chemistry.
Wizkid, born Ayodeji Balogun, is celebrated for his calm public persona and international acclaim, while Burna Boy, real name Damini Ogulu, is known for his outspoken style and Grammy-winning achievements.
With two of Nigeria’s biggest stars now caught in a public dispute, fans are watching closely to see whether the situation escalates further or cools down in the coming days.
