At least 23 people have died and 146 others injured after a series of explosions rocked Maiduguri on Monday night.
The blasts struck multiple locations, including the entrance of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Monday Market, and the Post Office area, sparking panic across the city.
Surajo Abdullahi of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said 169 victims were evacuated to hospitals.
Currently, 108 are receiving treatment at UMTH, 20 at Umaru Shehu Hospital, and 17 at Maiduguri Specialist Hospital.
Residents described the attacks as a frightening return to the violent days the city had largely moved past.

One resident, speaking anonymously with newsmen, said the explosions reignited fear and disturbing memories.
The last similar incident in Maiduguri occurred in 2021, when suspected Boko Haram fighters launched mortar attacks, killing at least 10, followed by a suicide bombing at a mosque in Gambarou Market.
Meanwhile, the Borno State Police Command has deployed its Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team to secure affected areas, while joint security forces and emergency responders have taken control of the situation.
The attacks follow an earlier assault on a military site in Ajilari, on the outskirts of Maiduguri, prompting uneasiness over a possible escalation of violence in the region.
