Grammy Award-winning Nigerian musician Burna Boy has opened talks with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) over a potential partnership aimed at driving development in Ahoada, Rivers State.
The artiste, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, made the appeal during a courtesy visit to the Commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, where he outlined plans to invest in the growth of Ahoada, his ancestral community.
Burna Boy said that while he was personally committed to supporting development initiatives in the area, sustainable impact would require collaboration with established institutions such as the NDDC.
He stressed that strategic partnership was essential to ensure projects were properly structured and delivered for long-term benefit.
