From the point of auctioning her wigs, popular Nigerian content creator Blessing Okoro, known online as Blessing CEO, intensified public reaction after announcing plans to sell personal belongings following what she described as a cancer diagnosis.
On Wednesday, 25 March 2026, the social media personality posted a video showcasing her extensive wig collection, which she said she was putting up for auction.
She explained that she had been diagnosed with cancer and had been advised to shave her hair, making the wigs unnecessary.
In the same video, Blessing CEO claimed the illness was a stage four diagnosis, but did not specify the type of cancer or provide further medical details.
