The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as false a report claiming to reveal the cost of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
A graphic widely circulated on Friday alleged that presidential aspirants would be required to pay N200 million for nomination forms, while state assembly hopefuls would pay N20 million.
In a statement issued on Saturday, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka described the claims as “fake” and “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.”
Morka stressed that the party had not made any decision or announcement regarding the sale or pricing of forms for the upcoming elections.

“The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE, and did not emanate from the Party,” Morka said.
He urged members of the party, the media, and the public to disregard the report entirely.
The clarification comes amid growing speculation about preparations for the 2027 polls, with the APC insisting that official information on nomination processes will be released only through its authorised channels.
