Lawrence Daniels, the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has broken his silence over growing rumours surrounding his sister’s marriage and allegations of drug abuse.
In a post shared on his Instagram handle, @sweezzy1, Lawrence described the reports as unfounded, urging the public to avoid making assumptions about his sister’s private life.
"No marriage without problems. But remember I decided not to speak. There’s no perfect couple. PS: REGINA DANIELS IS NOT AFFILIATED IN ANY DRUG ABUSE OR MISUSE," he wrote.
His statement comes amid renewed discussions on social media regarding the actress’s marriage to billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko.
Recall that Nwoko had said: "Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.
"She is the violent one here, slapping and hitting staff in the past 48 hours and destroying cars and windows for no just cause.
"I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence."
The post immediately drew widespread reactions, with fans and followers sharing mixed opinions.
While some praised Lawrence for defending his sister, others speculated about the current state of Regina’s marriage.
