Portable Unhappy with Carter Efe Boxing Loss, Questions Scorecards

Singer Habeeb ‘Portable’ Okikiola says he doesn’t agree with the result of his fight against comedian Carter Efe at 'Chaos in the Ring 4'

After the match, Portable went on Instagram Live and said the judges got it wrong.

He pointed out that Efe’s height and reach made it hard for him to land clean shots.

He also said his own punches should count even when they hit Efe’s arms or shoulders.

Portable talked about money from the fight’s livestream too, saying that organizers owe him around N200 million and told them to pay up.

The fight happened early Saturday at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island. All three judges scored it 27–30 for Carter Efe.

Efe kept his distance and landed the cleaner punches over three rounds.

Portable threw a lot but missed most, and both fighters clinched often.

This loss ends Portable’s celebrity boxing run as he had beaten Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington before.

While Efe came into the ring saying one punch would finish it, Portable had said he wanted a third belt.

Later, Portable said the belt isn’t a big deal right now, adding that his wife just had a baby boy.

He said the new born means more to him than any title that you can buy a belt but not a child.

Organizers have not replied to Portable’s comments at the time of this report.
