Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has issued a warning to actor and social media personality Kehinde Adams, popularly known as Lege Miami, after the content creator "made" disparaging comments about his late father.
Lege Miami had criticised several national team players in a recent online video following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
While he commended Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Fredrick and Calvin Bassey, he singled out others, including Nwabali, for harsh scrutiny.
A comment reportedly referencing the goalkeeper’s late father sparked the backlash.
Responding via his Instagram Stories, Nwabali cautioned the entertainer against involving his family in online commentary.
"Lege Miami, remove my late dad’s name from your mouth if you are doing your content. If you don’t learn to respect people’s dad, you should respect the dead.
"I’m not your regular type of footballer; I go beat you mercilessly. You’re free to insult me, but remove my late dad’s name from your mouth."
Lege Miami is yet to publicly respond to the warning.
