German automaker Mercedes-Benz has reportedly filed a complaint with the Italian Carabinieri involving Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen over a vehicle leased in 2023.
According to Italian outlet Napolista, the company alleges the Galatasaray forward did not complete the instalment plan for a hybrid GLE and did not return the car at the end of the lease term.
The alleged amount is €90,000, about N142 million, and the complaint is now under preliminary investigation.
Authorities are expected to contact Osimhen to clarify his position.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray from Napoli after helping the Italian club win its first Serie A title in nearly 40 years.

He is reported to earn over €20 million annually, making him the highest-paid player in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The Nigerian international is known for his car collection, which includes Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Lamborghini Revuelto, and Lamborghini Urus.
He recently showed his garage with also several Mercedes-Benz models to a content creator
Neither Osimhen nor his representatives have issued an official statement on the matter at the time of reporting.
The forward is expected to address the issue as he continues his season in Turkey.
