Social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, widely called Mr Jollof, were involved in a physical altercation aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba to Lagos on Monday.
The incident came to light after a Facebook user, Dr Paul Ezikel, posted a video of the scuffle on his page, drawing widespread attention across social media platforms.
According to his account, the confrontation broke out shortly after both men boarded the aircraft, prompting cabin crew and passengers to intervene.
The cause of the fight is yet to be independently verified, but the pair have a history of online feuds.
VDM and Mr Jollof have clashed repeatedly on social media, with tensions escalating earlier this year after VDM accused the comedian’s wife of improper conduct, a claim that triggered heated responses from both sides.
VDM later confirmed the in-flight altercation in a video shared on his Facebook page, insisting that he "dealt with" Mr Jollof during the brawl.
"I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey de bite," he said.
United Nigeria Airlines has yet to comment on the incident, and it remains unclear whether authorities will take further action.
