In a statement issued on Monday by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Musa Isah Umar, on behalf of the Commandant, AIG Patrick A Atayero, the institution confirmed that the exercise was concluded as of October 31, 2025.
AIG Atayero hailed key stakeholders, including the Police Service Commission, Ministry of Police Affairs, the Office of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), and the Academy staff, for their support and professionalism during the admission process.
He commended their collective dedication to transparency, merit, and excellence, which, he noted, ensured a smooth and credible selection of candidates.
The Commandant advised all successful applicants to log in to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal to complete their admission formalities and regularize their status.
According to the statement, the date of resumption for the newly admitted Regular Course 12 cadets will be announced in due course.
Members of the public were also cautioned to rely only on the Academy’s verified communication platforms for authentic information, particularly its official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/share/1EQEYnSEiF/?mibextid=wwXIfr.
