The Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), May Agbamuche, is currently meeting with chairmen and secretaries of political parties at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
The ongoing session is part of INEC’s consultations ahead of the Anambra State governorship election scheduled for November.

It provides a platform for the Commission and political party leaders to discuss emerging issues, address grey areas and strengthen preparations for the poll.
Key topics expected to be raised include logistics, security, voter mobilisation, and overall readiness for the exercise.
This is Agbamuche’s first formal engagement with political parties since assuming office in an acting capacity.
