Nigerian music promoter and socialite, Sam Larry is in hospital following a road accident along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in the early hours of Saturday, according to reports.
The crash reportedly involved the vehicle conveying Sam Larry and a trailer, leaving the car with severe front-end damage visible in photographs and videos circulating on social media.
Unfortunately, a bouncer travelling with him is said to have died at the scene.
The incident drew public attention after comedian and MC Mario Wazobia shared posts on Instagram calling for prayers.

"Pray for Sam Larry," he wrote, with a separate post indicating the promoter had been taken to hospital.
As of the time of this report, no official statement had been issued by Sam Larry's family or management regarding his condition.
The police and other relevant authorities had also yet to confirm the circumstances of the crash or the reported fatality.
The news has generated an outpouring of sympathy on social media, with many praying for Sam Larry's recovery and mourning the reported death of his bouncer.
