Michael Kayode has committed his future to Brentford, signing a new long-term contract that will keep the British-Nigerian full-back at the Premier League club until June 2032, with an option for a further year.
The 21-year-old joined Brentford on loan in January 2025 before the club activated a permanent deal worth £18 million last summer.
Just one full season into life at Griffin Park, he has already earned himself an extended stay.
Kayode made no secret of how quickly he had settled. "I feel like this club is a family, so I wanted to continue my journey here.
"I have amazing relationships that make me really like coming in for the morning to train and have fun with my team-mates, the staff and all the people around," he told the club's official website.

"Ever since I joined the club, everything has been amazing. It feels like I've been playing for Brentford for 10 years. I've improved a lot on the pitch and outside of the pitch. That's really important for me," he added.
Brentford head coach Keith Andrews was equally effusive. "Michael had an amazing season last year. He epitomised everything good that we do.
"His development and evolution has been really, really impressive. Michael's someone that we love working with every single day, who comes in with such an enthusiastic demeanour, and is a joy to be around and to coach.
"We're absolutely delighted that he wants to stay because we love having him here, and this new contract is absolutely deserved," he said.
Kayode scored once and registered two assists in 44 appearances across all competitions in his first full season in England, and was nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
