Court Reserves Ruling on Blessing CEO’s N36m Fraud Bail Application

Justice DI Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi has reserved ruling until Tuesday, 9 June 2026, on the bail application filed by social media influencer and relationship therapist Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO.

Blessing CEO is facing a two-count charge brought by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). 

The EFCC alleges she obtained money by false pretence and committed stealing involving thirty six million naira (N36 million).

At Friday’s hearing on 5 June, the court heard arguments from both prosecution and defence counsel before adjourning to deliver its decision on bail. 

The influencer pleaded not guilty to the charges in the case that has drawn wide attention online due to her prominence on social media, where she discusses relationships and personal development.

Proceedings will resume on 9 June when the court is expected to rule on whether she should be granted bail pending trial.
