Governor’s Son B-Red Reports Security Incident in Osun


Music artiste Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red, has reported a security incident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Osogbo, Osun State. 

B-Red, who is the son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, said the incident happened around 3:30 pm near the Oke-Fia area while he was out to purchase items at Alekuwodo market. 

According to his account, he noticed several commercial motorcyclists wearing branded caps approaching his vehicle at a traffic stop under the Okefia Bridge. 

He stated that a white Toyota Venza also approached with individuals shouting.

B-Red said both the vehicle and the motorcyclists followed his car as he drove toward the Osun State Government House gate at Oke-Fia, where the situation ended. 

He told reporters that he recognized one of the individuals involved and has reported the matter to the police for investigation.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, the government called on security agencies to investigate the matter promptly and ensure that due process is followed.

Police confirmed that an investigation is underway and no injuries were reported.
