NCDMB Clinches PEBEC Transparency, Efficiency Award for Fourth Year Running

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has secured the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Transparency and Efficiency Champion Award for the fourth consecutive year.

RoundReports learnt that the development reaffirms NCDMB's top position in the national Ease of Doing Business rankings from 2022 through 2025.

The award was presented on 2 December at the State House in Abuja. Although Executive Secretary, Engr Felix Omatsola Ogbe, was absent, he was represented by the Acting Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr Omomehin Ajimijaye.

According to Ajimijaye, the achievement demonstrated the Board’s firm alignment with government reforms and its adherence to internal performance targets.

Notably, the recognition shows NCDMB’s sustained operational standards, robust teamwork, and steady engagement with industry stakeholders.

Officials say the Board’s emphasis on transparency, efficiency, and prompt service delivery has been central to its repeated success.

This year’s PEBEC Awards and Gala Night, chaired by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, celebrated ongoing public sector reforms.

PEBEC Director General, Princess Zarah Audu, praised the Board for automating several of its processes to reduce human interference, adding that similar innovations would strengthen service culture across government agencies.

The NCDMB also received the Reform Champion Award, which was presented to Engr Cityfaith Baribor Zorasi for outstanding performance as the Board’s liaison to PEBEC.

In a statement, the Board said it remained committed to bolstering institutional efficiency, improving service standards, and advancing local content development under the NOGICD Act of 2010.

It also acknowledged PEBEC for the recognition and commended its staff for their commitment and hard work.
