BREAKING: Tinubu Swears In General Musa as Defence Minister

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday swore in General Christopher Musa as Nigeria’s Minister of Defence.

The ceremony, held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, followed Musa’s confirmation by the Senate on Wednesday after a five-hour screening session that examined his military career, strategic proposals and vision for national security reform.

Musa, a former Chief of Defence Staff, now takes charge of a ministry central to the government’s response to terrorism, banditry and other security threats across the country.
