Edo Governor Vows to Resign if Tinubu Loses 2027 Vote in State

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholor has declared that President Bola Tinubu will secure victory in the 2027 presidential election within the state, vowing to step down if the outcome proves otherwise.

There is no opposition here in Edo; everybody is for Asiwaju in this state,” he said, referring to Tinubu by his popular title.

Tinubu is more popular than me in Edo State. If he doesn’t win the presidential election in Edo in 2027, I will resign,” he added.
