Aaron Ramsey Ends Contract with Pumas After Struggling for Form, Fitness

Former Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey has ended his contract with Mexican club Pumas, according to a report by ESPN.

Ramsey joined the Liga MX side in July but has managed just six appearances, three of them as a starter.

His time in Mexico has been hampered by a hamstring injury sustained earlier in the year, which has kept him out of action since September.

The 34-year-old's limited playing time and fitness struggles contributed to his decision to part ways with the club, who currently sit 13th in the league standings with two matches left in the regular season. Pumas must climb into the top 10 to qualify for the play-offs.

Off the pitch, Ramsey has also faced personal challenges. The midfielder recently doubled the reward for his missing dog, Halo, who disappeared on October 9 in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.

The move suggests another difficult chapter in the veteran’s career following previous spells with Juventus, Nice, and his boyhood club Cardiff City.
