Afrobeat star Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Tife Balogun, has set social media abuzz after teasing what appears to be his debut single.
The 14-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday to share a short clip titled “Champion’s Arrival”, crediting DIKASTUDIOS as the videographer and iamhosana_ as the producer.
The video, which has already attracted over 30,900 likes and more than 1,000 comments, shows Tife delivering a confident rap verse laced with youthful bravado. In the clip, he declares, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” and adds, “I’ve got zero competition.”
Tife, Wizkid’s first son with his former partner, Shola Ogudu, appears to be carving his own musical path — and fans are taking notice. The video quickly went viral, sparking admiration and curiosity across X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
A user on X, @mubamz, hailed the teenager’s confidence, posting: “Shoutout to all the OGs in the game but it’s time to pass on the baton to Champion. Iyen Bolu na??? I’m here for it like mad!”
Another fan, @knightbrolow24, predicted the song could be a hit, saying, “If this song go do numbers pass ‘you know who’, this app no go contain us o.”
