Trump Says He’s Unsure of Making Heaven

United States (US) President Donald Trump has ignited public debate after admitting he is uncertain about making heaven, despite believing he has positively impacted many lives.

Trump made the revelation during a televised interview at the White House, aired by Fox News on Monday.

Responding to journalist Peter Doocy, who revisited his earlier comment about ending the war in Ukraine to "get into heaven," Trump said; "I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven, OK? I really don’t."

He continued, suggesting even uncertainty over the afterlife. "I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven," he said.

Despite revealing doubt about his spiritual fate, Trump defended his legacy, citing the good he believes he has done. "But I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people," he said.

Meanwhile, supporters dismissed the statement as characteristic Trump humour, while critics interpreted it as a rare moment of self-reflection from the president, hinting at his awareness of public perception.
