Ola of Lagos Vows Rebuild After Demolition of Auto Showroom

Nigerian auto dealer and social media influencer, Waris Olayinka Akinwande, popularly known as Ola of Lagos, has pledged to rebuild and return stronger after his luxury car showroom was demolished over the weekend.

The facility, which he unveiled only months ago, was reduced to rubble in an incident that quickly went viral online, eliciting a wave of sympathy from fans and industry supporters.

While the reason for the demolition remains unclear, the 28-year-old entrepreneur has chosen optimism over outrage.

In a post shared via his Instagram story on Sunday, Ola assured his followers and clients that his auto business, OOL Autos, remains fully operational despite the setback.

"OOL Autos new showroom coming soon… Bigger and better insha Allah. We’re still active! We’ve been before our physical showroom and we’d always be," he said.

He encouraged customers to continue patronising him while reconstruction plans are underway.

"Pending the time our new office will be ready, you can Call/WhatsApp for clean cars as usual—you will love it."

Grateful for the flood of support, he reflected on his resilience in the face of losses.

"Omo, these calls and messages—thank y’all though, I’m good. I promise I’m smiling at the moment… I’ve been chesting losses for long—losses that could comfortably get me a bedroom apartment in Ikoyi… All is well ooo haha…," he said.

Ola of Lagos rose to fame in 2021 after winning a giveaway by music star Davido. Since then, he has carved a niche with his flamboyant car reviews and luxury auto sales, earning a loyal following across social media.
