Oyo State Police have launched an investigation into the abduction of Mrs Olufunmilayo Aduke Adegoke and her twin sons, who were reportedly seized earlier today in Ibadan.
The Commissioner of Police ordered the Divisional Police Officer for Challenge Division and tactical units to the scene immediately after the incident was reported.
Reports said officers recovered the victim’s vehicle and began a detailed forensic and intelligence-led inquiry.
The Command disclosed it has deployed all necessary resources to secure the safe release of the victims and track down those behind the attack.

It added that detectives are working to establish the full circumstances of the kidnapping and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Residents have been urged to remain calm and cooperate with officers by sharing any information that could aid the investigation.
The incident has heightened security fears in Ibadan, coming less than three weeks after 39 school pupils and seven teachers were abducted in Oriire Local Government Area (LGA).
