Comedian Carter Efe defeated street-pop singer Portable by unanimous decision at Chaos in the Ring 4, organizers said.
Making his boxing debut, Efe used height and reach to outpoint Portable across three rounds, earning a 30-27 score from all judges.
Portable landed flurries and survived a knockdown, but Efe controlled the pace of the bout.
The event drew a packed crowd including musicians Timaya and D’Banj and footballer Victor Boniface.
The win earned Efe the celebrity belt and a share of a N50 million purse, according to event officials.
Boniface also gifted Efe a German visa, organizers said.

The bout was part of Chaos in the Ring 4 held in Lagos.
