Gunfire Hits Rihanna’s Beverly Hills Home, Suspect Arrested

Police in Los Angeles have arrested a woman after gunfire was reported outside the Beverly Hills home of pop star Rihanna, authorities said on Sunday.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at around 13:15 local time (21:15 GMT).

Investigators later confirmed that the property targeted belonged to the singer.

According to a police official who spoke to CBS News, officers recovered assault rifle casings at the scene.

No injuries were reported, though a law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times that Rihanna was inside the mansion at the time of the incident.

Police said the suspect, described as a woman in her 30s, briefly stopped her vehicle outside the property and fired seven rounds before driving away.

Authorities later tracked the vehicle to a location roughly eight miles (12km) from the singer’s home, where the woman was arrested.

Police further disclosed that her identity has not yet been released and the motive remains under investigation.

The incident comes months after Rihanna welcomed her third child, a daughter, with rapper A$AP Rocky.

The couple, who also share two sons, Riot and RZA, revealed the pregnancy during the 2025 Met Gala.

Earlier this year, A$AP Rocky was acquitted in a high-profile court case after being accused of firing a gun at a former friend.

Rihanna, born Robyn Fenty in Barbados, rose to global fame in the early 2000s with chart-topping hits including “Pon de Replay” and “Umbrella.”

The singer recently celebrated 20 years since the release of her debut album.

Beyond music, the 37-year-old has built a business empire, launching brands such as Fenty Beauty and a successful lingerie line.

According to Forbes, her net worth is estimated to exceed $1bn.
