'I'm Only Looking For Fans With Money' – Burna Boy

Fans who have money” are the only supporters Burna Boy says he values, after the Nigerian star dismissed criticism over his decision to eject a couple from his Denver concert for allegedly sleeping during his performance.

The Grammy-winning singer, born Damini Ogulu, triggered backlash when footage surfaced showing him instructing security to remove the pair.

It was said that the woman later revealed the incident left her distressed, prompting a wave of online criticism about the artist's treatment of concert-goers.

Addressing the controversy during a recent livestream, Burna Boy appeared unfazed.

"Did I tell you all to be my fans? I am only looking for fans who have money this period," he said, brushing aside comments over the incident.

His reaction has sparked renewed debate about his relationship with his fanbase, with some critics warning that they may "cancel" the musician.

Burna Boy has faced similar controversies in the past. He once kicked a male fan who ran onstage to hug him, and on another occasion ordered a fan to leave his show for not dancing. He did not apologise for either incident.
