Bayelsa Govt Sets Deadline for Entrepreneurs to Submit BOI Documents


The Bayelsa State Government has directed all entrepreneurs who have been cleared by the Governor’s Office and received their required documents from the Bank of Industry (BOI) to submit them next week Monday.

According to a notice issued by the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Entrepreneurship Development, Mrs Charity Kens Godwin, the submission exercise will take place on Monday, 1 December 2025, beginning at 8:00am.

Entrepreneurs are required to provide photocopies of all relevant documents as part of the state’s ongoing enterprise support and verification process.

Mrs Godwin added that the date for certification by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development at the Federal University, Otuoke, would be communicated soon.

She congratulated all beneficiaries, saying that Governor Douye Diri remains committed to strengthening small businesses and expanding economic opportunities across Bayelsa State.
