Tinubu, Alia Mourn Senator Abba Moro’s Son, Grandson

President Bola Tinubu has mourned the death of the son and grandson of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, describing the loss as a heartbreaking tragedy.

In a condolence message to the family of the lawmaker representing Benue South Senatorial District, President Tinubu extended his sympathies to the Senator, his relatives, and associates over the deaths of Victor Moro and Abba Moro Jr.

The President urged the bereaved family to draw comfort from the "impactful lives" the late children lived, adding that though their time on earth was brief, they left behind fond memories and touched many lives.

He prayed that God would receive the souls of the departed and grant the family strength and peace during this difficult period.

Similarly, Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has also commiserated with Senator Moro over what he described as a "painful and devastating loss."

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, Governor Alia said the deaths of the Senator’s son, Peter Moro, and grandson, Abba Moro Jr., were a tragedy that touched all who value humanity.

He called on the grieving family, the people of Benue South, and the entire state to accept the loss as an act of God, who alone gives and takes life.

The Governor prayed for divine comfort for the family and eternal rest for the departed souls.
