Several women from host communities of the Trans Niger Pipeline in Bayelsa recently took part in the data capture exercise for the "Women Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Programme," an initiative by Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL).
The exercise, held at Golden Tulip Hotel in Yenagoa, is scheduled to continue on 17th and 18th October 2025, allowing additional participants to complete the registration process.
Beneficiaries, who were nominated by their respective community leadership, are set to receive business support from PINL as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.
Women who were nominated but could not attend the initial session have been encouraged to make use of the remaining days to ensure their inclusion in the programme.
