Pastor Korede Komaiya has stirred debate online after telling worshippers that he possesses a rare spiritual ability to produce billionaires through what he described as covenant giving.
Speaking during a sermon that has since circulated widely on social media, the senior pastor dismissed critics who question church teachings on financial giving, particularly those who consume sceptical content online.
According to him, such critics fail to grasp what he termed the "kingdom economy."
The cleric asserted that his ministry carries a distinctive mandate, declaring that only a handful of pastors globally are endowed with what he called "the oil of raising billionaires."
He argued that wealth creation, in spiritual terms, is tied to disciplined and consistent financial commitment, warning congregants that refusing to embrace covenant giving would lead to perpetual financial struggle.

In his words, the true state of a believer’s devotion is revealed not merely by giving, but by the size, timing and regularity of such contributions.
He added that generosity, in his view, is a concrete expression of love for God.
The pastor further suggested that financial stagnation in the lives of many believers stems from what he described as unfaithfulness in giving.
"Giving is one of the authentic ways you demonstrate your love for God. So your giving measures your love for God.
"Financial unfaithfulness is the reason for lag in the life of a lot of people," he said.
