Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, joined by his wife Valerie and Opobo/Nkoro Council Chairman James A. James, on Sunday, September 28, led the people of the state in a thanksgiving service to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.
Round Reports learnt that the inter-denominational service, held at St. Paul’s Cathedral, was packed with worshippers, clergy, government officials and residents who came together to honour the nation’s milestone.
The atmosphere was a blend of celebration and solemn reflection, as hymns of gratitude filled the cathedral and prayers were lifted for Nigeria’s peace, unity and progress.
